  • Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Championship Tournament
  • 2012, 2013, and 2014 Championship tournament will be held in the historic Hersheypark Arena in Hershey, PA
  • The tournament is run on behalf or Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling by Wrestle for a Cure, Inc., a non-profit corporation founded to organize, promote and operate Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling tournaments and events for the benefit of charity.  

Wrestling Schedule

  • Weigh-ins - Thursday March 22, 2012 from 4:00PM until 11:00PM, Hersheypark Arena, Hershey, Pa
  • Wrestling begins at 8:00AM on Friday March 23rd
  • Wrestling begins at 8:00AM on Saturday March 24th
  • Championship finals begin at 5:00PM on Saturday March 24th

Event

  • The 2012 tournament marks the 50th anniversary of the Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling state championships
  • Multiple day event held Friday - Saturday, March 23-24, 2012
  • 1,166 wrestlers age 14 and under representing Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling Areas I - XI
  • Wrestlers qualify for this tournament by placing in the top two in their respective Area Championships
  • Wrestlers compete for the title of Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Champion in 53 age / weight class classifications
